Stripe doesn't record whether your buyer logged in, which device they used, or what they watched. Your members area does. ChargeProof pulls that usage evidence, builds the response for each dispute reason, and tells you which disputes are worth the $15 to fight — so you stop paying to lose.

win rate in our latest month (Sept 2026: 10 won, 5 lost)
across all 129 disputes we fought, including the early months while we were still tuning which ones to fight
on the 46 disputes we didn't fight. Every one lost.
Refined across 1,000+ disputes since January 2026. Win rates above measured on 397 disputes on our own digital-product business, Jul–Sep 2026, across multiple Stripe accounts and 11 currencies. Our results, not a promise of yours. Results vary.

You can't show a tracking number for a course. So the bank sees a buyer who says "I didn't authorize this" — and a seller with nothing to show back.

A physical store wins a "product not received" dispute with a carrier scan. You sell access, not boxes. There's no doorstep photo for a login.
The evidence that proves this buyer used what they paid for — the IP and device they logged in from, the dates they came back, the modules they opened — doesn't live in Stripe. Stripe doesn't store your buyer's IP, device, or product usage. It lives in your members area.
The dispute tools on the market work from Stripe's data. So they file the same thin response you would, and the bank sides with the cardholder.
Stripe's own analysis of "product not received" disputes found that responses with digital activity and usage logs had a win rate about 10 percentage points higher. Source: Stripe
Some of it shows up in your Stripe balance. Some of it shows up when Visa reviews your account.
the moment a dispute arrives. Win or lose, you don't get it back.
if you submit evidence. Refunded only if you win.
the sale itself, gone if you lose.
Run it on a $39 order. Filing a response puts $15 at risk to get back $54 (the $39 plus the refunded $15). On fees alone, you need better than about a 28% chance of winning just to break even — before your time or any success fee. Fight blind and the losing cases quietly eat the winners.
And a part that never shows up as a line item: a won dispute still counts toward your Visa dispute ratio. Visa tightened its monitoring program (VAMP) in April 2026. Too many disputes, won or not, and your processor starts asking questions.
So the job isn't "fight everything." It's: stop disputes before they happen where you can, fight the ones the evidence can win, and don't pay $15 to lose the rest.

Our own digital-product business. Real disputes, real money, Jul–Sep 2026.
ChargeProof wasn't a SaaS idea first. It was a fix for our own problem.
We've been building and refining it since January 2026, across more than 1,000 disputes on multiple Stripe accounts. Every loss taught it something: which evidence a given dispute reason needs, which claims an analyst rejects, and which disputes aren't worth the $15. The numbers below are from the stretch we tracked end to end, July to September 2026.
We run digital products sold with paid traffic: low-ticket, median order around $39, multiple Stripe accounts, 11 currencies. Disputes were a constant drain, and the standard advice ("submit the receipt and the terms of service") wasn't winning anything.
So we built a system that does three things: pull the buyer's usage proof from our members area, write the response around the specific dispute reason, and decide before filing whether a dispute is worth fighting at all.
The jump in September wasn't luck. As the system matured, it got better at matching evidence to the dispute reason, and at not fighting the ones the evidence couldn't win. Fewer wasted $15 counter fees, higher win rate on what we filed.
On top of that, 83 disputes were prevented before they turned into chargebacks, through alerts and early resolution. A prevented dispute never touches your Visa ratio.
September: 10 won, 5 lost.
Our own results, on our own products. Of the 397 disputes in the period, 120 were still awaiting response and 19 under review at the time of writing. Your numbers will depend on your product, your evidence and your dispute mix. Results vary.
These are the notifications Stripe sent to our own inbox, one week, untouched. Every line is a dispute a buyer filed after using the product, and a response built from their usage data that the bank accepted.

No checkout change. No migration. We plug into what you already use.

You give ChargeProof access to your Stripe disputes and to wherever your buyers log in: Kajabi, Skool, Whop, Teachable, or your own platform. During beta, we set it up with you on a call.
For every buyer, we tie the payment to what happened after it: checkout IP and device, the delivery email, each login, the content they opened, every upsell they clicked through, and past charges they never disputed.
When a dispute lands, we score it first. If the evidence can win, we build the response for that dispute reason and file it. If it can't, we tell you to skip it, and you keep the $15.
| Dispute reason | What the bank needs to see | Evidence we pull |
|---|---|---|
| Fraudulent / unauthorized | The cardholder made the purchase and used it | Checkout IP and device matching later logins, prior undisputed charges on the same card |
| Product not received | Access was delivered and used | Delivery email proof, login dates, content consumed |
| Subscription canceled / credit not processed | No valid cancellation, or terms were disclosed | Cancellation records, continued use after the claimed date, refund history |
| Duplicate / unrecognized | Each charge was a separate, intended purchase | Funnel sequence: each upsell accepted click by click |
The difference is the evidence we use, who decides what's worth fighting, and how we get paid.

| Pricing | Flat monthly fee + a small fee only when we win | 25% of recovered + $29 per alert | 30% of recovered |
When a tool takes 25–30% of everything it recovers, its incentive is volume. Fighting a dispute it will probably lose costs it nothing — it costs you the $15. We charge a flat monthly fee plus a small fee only on wins, so skipping a losing dispute is in both our interests.
Competitor details based on their public pricing pages as of October 2026. ChargeProof works with Stripe; it is not affiliated with or endorsed by Stripe, Inc., Chargeflow, Visa or any platform named here.
We're onboarding a small number of beta accounts, done-with-you. Here's who gets the most out of it.
Use ChargeProof for 60 days. If you don't see that it was worth it, tell us and we refund 100% of what you paid ChargeProof — monthly fee and win fees. One email. No forms, no questions, no fine print.
We can offer this because we've watched the system work on our own money first. If it doesn't work on yours, we don't want to keep it.
Covers what you paid ChargeProof. Stripe's own dispute fees are charged by Stripe and aren't ours to refund.
No. If you charge through Stripe, ChargeProof works with your existing setup. No migration, no new checkout.
If your platform records logins or activity — or can export them — we can usually use that evidence. Custom areas are often the easiest, because we can capture exactly what we need. Checking your specific platform is part of the free review, so you'll know before committing to anything.
You pay no success fee. Stripe's $15 dispute fee is charged when the dispute arrives regardless of what anyone does, and its $15 counter fee is only returned on a win. That's why we score every dispute first: we'd rather tell you to skip one than spend your $15 on a likely loss.
Fighting doesn't add to it, but winning doesn't remove it either: Visa counts disputes toward your ratio even when you win. That's why we also work on prevention. In our own operation, 83 disputes were stopped before they became chargebacks. Fighting recovers money; prevention protects the account.
A flat monthly fee plus a small fee only on disputes we win — a fraction of the 25–30% other tools take from every recovered dollar. Beta pricing is confirmed on your review call. The review itself is free, and every plan comes with a 60-day money-back guarantee.
You're covered for 60 days. If you don't see that ChargeProof was worth it, email us and we refund 100% of what you paid us. Stripe's own dispute fees are charged by Stripe, so they're outside the refund.
No, and be careful with anyone who does. We won 67% of fought disputes in our latest month and 52% overall on our own products. Your results depend on your product, your evidence and your dispute mix.
We request only the access needed to read your disputes and submit evidence, and only pull the buyer activity needed to prove a purchase was real. Customer data is used to defend your disputes, nothing else, and is deleted on request. You can revoke access from Stripe and your members area at any time.
During beta we set it up with you, live. How long it takes depends on your members area, and we'll give you a straight estimate in the review.
Tell us how you sell. We'll review your open disputes for free and tell you honestly which ones are worth fighting, and whether ChargeProof makes sense for you.
Beta spots are limited because we set up every account with you. 60-day money-back guarantee.
We'll review your answers and reach out within 2 business days by email (or WhatsApp, if you left it). To speed things up, have your Stripe disputes page handy. In the review we'll look at your open disputes and tell you which ones are worth fighting, even if you never become a customer.
Right now it's not in a single dispute response. Every dispute you let go is a 0% win rate. Find out which of yours are worth fighting.
